Bed Configuration Requests

The most popular option for students with shared bedrooms is a bunked bed configuration, the standard room set-up. If you and/or your roommate wish to have your beds lofted or debunked prior to your arrival on campus, you may make this request in advance online. A separate request must be submitted by each roommate. You and your roommate can request to have one bed lofted and one bed on the floor. Remember that alterations to bed configurations must be done by Residence Life maintenance personnel and students may not bring or build their own bed lofts.

There is no charge for the first bed configuration request. A $50.00 charge per student will apply for subsequent requests, so carefully consider your options before requesting a bed configuration change.
